Brief:

Nee Formwork was commissioned to construct the accommodation bases for the Barracks at RAF Wyton. The job was under severe time pressure after delays in the initial stages and we were asked by our client to get the project over the line as quickly but as safely as possible.

Solution:

We drew on all of our labour and brought in extra materials to work on several sections at the same time and poured 40 + bases and plinths in 2 weeks all within 3mm on the bearing plinths.

Outcome:

This job showcased the speed at which we can form structures, both main bases and loading plinths were completed in 2 weeks, over 3 pours, with 3mm tolerance on the load-bearing pads cast onto the plinths.
